0:53 “if her teeth are in my mouth…” LOL wtf…?
U PPL ARE STUPID,THESE TECNIQUES WORK BUT THAT’S ONLY HALF THE BATTLE.U HAVE TO BE CONFIDENT IN YOUR CORECTIONS AND HAVE DOMINANT ATTITUDE.I PERSONALLY USE MY HAND IN A 3 PRONG ACTION AND GIVE THE DOG A LIL SNAP TO THE SOFT SPOT OF THE NECK,THIS IMMULATES A DOG BITE,IT BREAKS THE FOCUS OF THE DOGS NEGATIVE ENERGY AND DEMANDS HIS FOCUS ON U AND WHAT U WANT HIM DO.I NEVER USED TREATS,THEY ARE DOGS NOT KIDS.I OWN 2 AMERICAN BULLDOGS N I DO TRAINING ON THE SIDE.MY BOYS R CALM N DO ONLY WHAT I SAY.
i’d be confused as hell if i was that dog lol
“u hit my mouth and then pet me?? what the hell!!!!”
If you train your dog with punishment like muzzle grabbing, bopping, or choking, you may have a well trained job, but a dog who is well trained to mistrust you. It also shows him that aggression is sometimes okay which is dangerous with a large breed dog like that.
JUST for unnecessarily grabbing her muzzle to “show the technique” in this video this guy should be beaten up for
He confuses and hurts his dog for a video – great technique, applause. The ONLY solution to prevent the puppy from being mouthy is to ignore the behaviour, leave it alone for a few minutes to calm him down and show by ignoring it that its behaviour was wrong. Also use positive reinforcement to teach the things which he/she is doing right. No muzzle grab or “bopping” necessary.
Grabbing a puppies muzzle or ‘bopping’ them is not a good way to teach them. Showing them that being hurtful is the way to get someone to stop something is only defeating the purpose. It’s like when a parents spanks their kid and says ’stop hitting your sister!’…. what the heck is that teaching them?!
i ben tryin every thing grabin his snout n holding my girl bops him lol that shit dont work hes gettin WROSEE email me people help me out lap boxer 10weeks markastevenz@yahoo.com rescue dog
grab a dogs jaw who is biting?? good luck, sounds stupid to me
@valenciabruce everything gets alot better after their nuttered and are around 1 year old they start to calm down and stuff
@aes620hb2 I hear ya. My bull terrier pup is 11 weeks old and my hands and arms are shredded. I try everything from holdnin him on the ground,holding his muzzel I even tried the bop but the cheecky little fuck just comes back even harder, I am hoping that after his final vaccination when he can go for walks he is more calm, He is really good in everything else he just prefers my arms and hands to all the toys he has
it work on my pitbull 6month puppy. she has become so much easier to work with now thanx.
none of this shit works on my dog
lol on 52 to 55secsond in the vidoe if her teeth are in my mouth lolol
omg i have an 8 week old german sheperd puppy she bites me but i tap her on the nose or grab her face like that ha poor dog
@ref498 then bop him lmao
i have a boxer, i have no muzzle
@artmaster1225 not its never to late to teach your dog anything. every day is a new day from dogs to learn. you desensitize her from being hand shy, by going like your gonna hit her, then praise her. so just swich from one to the other
every time my dog would bite me instead of bopping her under her jaw i’d do it on the nose like you said it makes the dog hand shy my dog is 13 weeks old is it too late to change from bopping her on the nose to under the jaw.
Lol That dog is like, “Wtf did I do?”
will the dog learn eventually to stop biting, or will you have to keep doing that ‘bop’?
lol all paragraphs!
Tell me how you use clicker for geting a negative behaviour out… =) i use clicker for posstivie behaviours but for say my puppy that i have know i just make a loud PPPIIIIIIIPPPP and walk away, get my back to the puppy not playing with it anymore until he comes to me ready to show hes learned. and then i try again, still bites to hard i do the same routine again and i continue that until its over. but tell me how to use clicker to not bite as a puppy:D
Yes, you can do many things to train your dog.
they do fight for dominance and will do so. and they are as if they are in a pack. you must be a good leader but also show that you will not put up with foolish actions. take the african wild dog, they have ranks in their packs. alphas are leaders and guid the pack but also show the pack that they are boss and they say what to do and not. to do this they snarl when they get angry at another african wild dogs action. or they might pin the other dog to show dominance and they are bigger.
@jattkang
Once this happens, make a very sharp and loud yelp (different than the regualr ‘no’, it needs to be quite loud and sharp), then instantly stop playing and walk out of the room leaving him alone for at least 5 minutes and not longer than 10. I only had to do it once, but some dogs need more. It’s mainly about how long you let the problem go on before you fix it. I hope this works, and please don’t try any of the crazy negative stuff those people promote.
