How do you correct poor puppy potty training?

I tried the puppy training pads at an early stage, now my dog will nto go potty otuside at all. We coudl be online pharmacies outside for hours then i let him in and he goes straight to the pad to pee. However i recently tried movign the pad to another location closer tot he door, however he still went to the spot where the pad was. He is trainined that, there is only one spot to go potty pad or not.

Put the puppy pad outside for a while then just take it away maybe he’ll get the idea!
Well you trained him to go INDOORS, ON the pad IN a certain area. Back to the crate training and take him OUT to potty this time. He should catch on quickly as he has been through the drill once, already.
Take the pad away. I assume he is an inside dog so you can break him of that by kennel training him. When you are away put him in a kennel. Then when you get home take him outside. Dogs will not go to the bathroom where they are sitting and can’t get away from it. After he goes to the bathroom reward him by petting him and talking to him. If he won’t go outside let him in and follow him to the pad spot. When he starts to squat tell him NO in a loud stern voice and immediately take him outside. It will take time but eventually he will learn where he needs to go.
Hey, no problem! A great way that I fixed this problem is to buy a crate. Buy a crate that allows him enough room to stand up, turn around, and move from side to side. Too big of a crate will allow him to pee and sleep in one place. Keep a food dish and water dish in the crate with a nice chew toy, and when you arrive home, grab that puppy and run outside. He will really need to go, but if he refuses outside, wait it out and grab the pee pad if all else fails.
Also, if you are with him around ten minutes after he eats, plays, and wakes up form a nap, then take him outside, because this is when he is most likely to go. Good luck!
Yup, this is why puppy pads aren’t for housetraining!
Try moving the puppy slowly towards the door.. Just a little bit each day.. If you do one big move, they would go back to where they remember it being.. Move it slowly so that before they realize what’s going on, you have slowly moved it right out the door..
When you see him going to the pad stop him and say no firmly (have a used pad outside so it will have his scent on it) as you are taking him outside ask him do you need to pee pee keep that phrase consistent so he will know why he is going outside and will eventually recognize it. When you get him outside do not take him back in until it has used it. It make take a while I had a Yorkie it took me 2 months and I was so frustrated and thought he will never get it. I would take him outside and he would not use it soon as he was in he would use it on the carpet. So I had to get a leash and doggie steak to keep him in the yard from wandering off and I left him outside until he had to go and had no choice. I would keep watching him through the door and when I see that he went I would instantly say good puppie and give him a treat. If you see he still wants to go in the house you have to rub his nose in the pee where he went while saying no but make sure you do it instantly after he pees or it will not do any good because he will not know what you are punishing him for. He will start going outside on the pad then eventually move the pad and turn it upside down so the scent will be on the ground and he will smell it and start getting the idea It takes time just use treats, a good phrase for him to recognize, and time he will grow into it.
